Abandoned Object in a Forest
With a low-level horizon line please design an abandoned object inside a forest filled with rocks, trees and vegetation. The object look like it has been inside the forest for quite a while with vegetation growing all over and through it. Objects to consider from easiest to hardest: plane, old house, old car, old train or robot. Step 1- Gather reference, and d evelop some rough thumbnails and ideas. Step 2- Draw the vehicle/prop object first with a low-level horizon line, keep the object in the mid ground! Step 2- Sketch from mid ground to fore ground. Block in the background last. Step 3- Start painting the prop and Mid ground items, with a light background color behind it on another layer. Step 4- Paint the FG Step 5- Add light direction, add some high lights then start developing the background. Keep detail focused on the foreground.
